Some have abilities that allow them to interfere with living people, but usually they're not so antisocial as to use them regularly. Though, given the right creature with the right abilities, dark powers... they also can be quite vulnerable. I... had a bad experience with that, once. But that's probably enough for you to know; I don't wish to frighten you more. Most of them are reasonably friendly.
