*she shakes her head in protest* I'm not trying to solve everyone's problems. There have simply been some... rather strange things in my life, lately. New dimensions, new lives, new hurts... and I desire to see, and to serve. There are so many mysteries of Primus to be found, and to learn from... and so many emotions that accompany them.

*Her brow furrows, and she tries to read his intent* What do you mean, exactly?

Thrust holds out the box, attempting to change the subject. "Treat. Authentic Omnicon-made energon chips, quite high quality. Would you like one?

*Well... he appears to have understood, at least for the moment. She allows herself the distraction, curious in spite of herself* 'Omnicons'? I've not heard of them, before...

"They're a subrace of expert energon workers. They've even managed to craft working, stable weaponry out of it."

*her optics flicker slightly* Weapons? But... how? And why? That... is very strange to me. *she shakes her head slightly at herself, with a little smile* I suppose it shouldn't suprise me anymore. There are so many new things in the multiverse.

"I don't understand the procedure myself, but they are adept. Their allegiance is Autobot but they themselves care little for war."

Again he offers her the box.

Autobots... called Omnicons? Unconventional... *she blinks at him a moment, before gingerly taking the offered box, and peering into it with curiosity. Brow furrowed at what she sees, she pulls out the contents to better examine it, finding herself holding a very large slab of crystal..?*

Ah... I'd forgotten that your native people mine energon. *She tilts her head as she turns it over in her hands, with an air of childlike discovery* And you eat this? *she taps at it carefully with a forefinger*

Thrust nodes encouragingly. "It's quite delicious, and it should suit your fuel tanks as well as mine. Go on, have a taste."

*She gives him a somewhat skeptical glance, but humors him, nibbling delicately at a corner. She looks at the crystal contemplatively, as her gustatory systems process the content. She 'hmm's appreciatively* It is... quite unlike my native energon - more complex, I think. I confess that I don't often pay attention to flavors... but this is very pleasant! It is a welcome curiosity.

*she smiles graciously, taking another small piece, before returning it to its box. One gets the impression it will last her half a vorn, at this rate, reluctant as she is to indulge herself* Thank you, Thrust, for your generosity.

"Most people don't, which is why such a thing is in such high demand. It is more subtle than your average high grade, easier on the palate."

*Auspex nods thoughtfully, though she chuckles a bit* You sound like a merchant.

Windtunnel's creation, remember? If I'm sounding like a merchant it's probably a good thing." And Thrust winks ever so slightly, folding his arms again.

"Besides letting yourself be influenced by Autobots, what have you been up to?"

*Auspex simply shakes her head - mostly in amusement, though it is accompanied by a slight wince - at the mention of Windtunnel* I suppose he would be pleased, then. *Her tone is rather ambiguous*

*The wince grows more pronounced, rather on the pained side* Please, you speak rashly; you really have no idea why they were here. Faction has little to do with it.

"I meant it as a classifying term, not as a derogatory one. I know many pleasant and intelligent Autobots." Thrust snaps his mask off, displaying his thin, small mouth turned up in a grin. See, he shows his real face, he has nothing to hide.

*She nods once as he clarifies* Very well, though I find the distinction unecessary; I find it more of note that they are dead.

*she blinks at him in startlement and more than a little confusion as he removes the mask; she vaguely senses the point he's trying to make, but really, it has the opposite effect; sincerity is gone, he is attempting to ingratiate himself to her and her god, he is trying too hard to regain what he hasn't even lost. She shakes her head again, sadly*

Did I not say, that I trust you, in spite of the fact that you are not trustworthy? I trust you less, when you attempt to make yourself into more than what you are. I have no doubt you've used that gesture before to win trust, whether or not it was deserved. That means nothing to Primus; there is nothing you can hide from him. I might find the show of faith more reassuring, if not for the reasoning I see behind the action.

*Thrust seems startled for a moment, his confusion all the more obvious for how open he's left himself. He hadn't expected this level of...well, insight from someone unused to intrigue*

You have...a great point there, yes. *tone goes into grovelling mode* But you know I would never wish harm upon you. If I do this, I do it to make you more comfortable. I thought you wanted me to be open.

*she sees his surprise, and resists a weary sigh* I have counseled others with a mindset such as yours; that, and a great deal of Primus' insight to your nature, bring me this perspective. Perhaps he seeks to remind you how much he does know about his children, and what I can see of what he tells me.

*she almost winces at his supplicating tone, but attempts to overlook it for the moment* I am not questioning your trustworthiness. I know what it is, and what it is not, regardless of what you outwardly present, and I thank you for being as honest with me as you have been. I do appreciate openness, that you truly represent what I can already sense. Masks are not of consequence, unless you feel that you hide your nature behind it, as well as your face.

*raises his hand and snaps his mask back on again--he's obviously more comfortable with his face covered* *shoulders slump ever so slightly in weariness and irritation* I do wish Primus would be a bit less vague in this sort of thing. I work for myself and I am rewarded, I take unnecessary pains to protect you and you shoot me down.

*While his aspect is rather conflicted, somewhere between honesty and exaggeration, she does recognize genuine discouragement in there somewhere, and she regrets it; he still doesn't understand. She hesitates for a moment, but decides to ignore the risk of offending him, and takes his hand and pats it lightly in apology, somewhat contrite, if also faintly exasperated*

No, I am honored to have a friend that cares to watch for my safety... even if, perhaps, you do so more for your own benefit, than mine. I admit I felt more secure for your presence there, when my sanctuary's attacker came to the Nexus; I thank you for that, and for every other time you've been there when I've had to take frightening risks, such as after my encounter with Megatron under Unicron's control. But... there are also times when I know I am safe.

*Thrust practically beams when she compliments him on making her feel more secure. But her other comment makes his optics narrow in discontent* Your temple has been attacked at least once, priestess. Shouldn't you be taking better care?

*she shakes her head patiently, keeping hold of his hand to convey to him that she is indeed listening, and not taking his words lightly* What I am trying to explain, is that it is not an assumption, it is an assurance. Only when a force outside of Primus' children, or the Allspark, is involved, am I dealing with an unknown.

I inquired of Primus, and he assured me of Ratchet and Ironhide's intentions. That was enough to put my concerns to rest. Even the Cybertronians that frighten me, can do me no harm, unless Primus allows, though at times he will. I fear, when Primus tells me beforehand that injury is a possibility, because I wish to avoid pain as much as anyone, but he will tell me, first. And I cannot, and will not, refuse him, when he directs me to speak with someone, even if I will be harmed.

I... don't see how I can stay as safe as you might wish, if Primus calls me to speak with someone dangerous. In a case such as that, you attempt to defy Primus, by keeping me away. There are times when I will not be safe, but I cannot avoid them.

*nods, ever so slowly* If you are very sure? There are tricks, you might not know they were anything out of the ordinary until it was far too late.

*her brow furrows, as she tries to identify what exactly he's thinking of* Do you have any theoreticals, perhaps? I'm not sure how that could be done.

A servant of Unicron or another dark force blinds your empathy, making you think they are neutral when they are malevolent.

*she frowns, optics flickering slightly* But the power of Unicron causes me pain... if they have found a way to mask that... then caution would be useless, anyway.

*She struggles to think of a situation that would match his scenario, some sort of wild theoretical that could possibly fit - but then, it is the Nexus involved, it probably exists, somewhere. The odds of it showing up in the Nexus, however, are not great*

The most dangerous, for me, would be someone such as Void, who is given over to Chaos, but still possesses a spark of Primus. On the other hand, I'm sure I would react as I would to any other servant of Unicron... surely I would not be able to sense Primus' spark in amongst all the Chaos. I couldn't see Jetstorm's spark, or his brothers', until the Chaos was gone. After that, they were as normal to my senses as any other Cybertronian. *she specifically emphasizes this final point*
