*Auspex is attempting to study an obscure text. She is somewhat distracted, still reeling a bit about the recent events, the new friend she lost so soon, and what an enigma he was... as well as the experience of having her innate abilities boosted by a Cybertronian with Mini-Con power-augmenting energy, without the need of the specific port that no one in her universe possesses... and a new dent in the wall that needs repair, introduced by a very large helicopter Cybertronian from a very alien universe. It's... been strange lately, even for her.*

((Blah, this is far ahead in the timeline, since I wasn't going to have her write anything until she's back from Autobot city. Though I guess this is taking place during that, considering the ghosts from the Allspark wandering... heck, I dunno. Will all be rearranged again eventually. :p ))

((Thrust and Auspex got into a bit of a disagreement in this thread, referenced here.))

Auspex has had a few troubling encounters in the Nexus lately... she finds herself preoccupied, worried, praying for her charges more than ever. She is doing so now, in her preferred spot for prayer, arms resting on her knees, palms to the floor, as though she hopes to absorb some reassurance from Primus through the ground.

Pain, fear, chastisement, frustration, exasperation... Primus, soothe them away...

Auspex is seated in her personal living space, adding an entry in her datapad.  There is a new addition to the various oddities collected on her table (datapads with old religious texts, the occasional artifact or three, a small, unfinished mosaic with the appropriate metal tiles collected in a nearby container, random tech, tools, and other less-identifiable things here and there, all of it managing to remain semi-orderly): it is a very small plaque, of Earthen wood, an equally Earthen dove carved into the surface: a gift from Cureall.  She'd decided the symbolism of the plaque would be considerably more confusing to those with no Earth experience, if displayed in the sanctuary, than the statue Thrust had given the temple earlier, so she'd put it in her personal space, where she could see it.

Usually, she would be in the hall proper, to welcome visitors, but this entry is not something she wants just anybody to see: it could be potentially alarming to certain parties:

Of all the creatures and entities I never wanted to see in the Nexus -- didn't even imagine I could see in the Nexus -- this was the worst-case scenario.  I saw, and spoke to, the Chaos Bringer himself.

It actually could have been much worse than it was.  Of course, Primus was with me, and I did not allow myself to speak in my own power; that would have been disastrous. But first, I was verbally abused by an apparent Chaos-god from another universe.  That was quite... odd.  I wasn't quite sure how to answer her; I know the truths of my native place, but this creature seemed unable to accept the nature of the multiverse.  But her insistence caught the attention of Unicron...

I believe Primus is reminding me not to be impatient; I have been restless in this last week.  I've been to the Nexus again, to while away the time, and in hopes Primus will lead me to more of my people.  The only other Cybertronian I've met, besides Cureall and Thrust, is Megatron.  I believe he is the one from Thrust's universe, perhaps from a time after Thrust's death, though I'm not completely sure.  Either way, the encounter was not a pleasant one.

An organic male was talking about metal (and music, although how the two concepts are related is beyond me).  Someone commented on the metal composing Unicron's body, and using it to forge armor, as well as usurping his power.  Needless to say, it caused me much alarm, and I found myself staring at a large Decepticon.  I've only seen a few images of that world's Megatron, and cannot differentiate between his occasional design changes, but otherwise he is quite distinctive, and instantly recognizable.  I objected to his dangerous words, and told him I was a servant of Primus.  And he... *Auspex pauses, willing her inner circuitry to cease the tiny surges of incredulity and anger*  He said, and I quote, "I wonder what will befall you when I absorb his spark's power as well."

I am not quick to negative emotional responses, as that would not befit a servant of our god.  Normally, I would reject such a ridiculous statement outright, as a madman's ravings.  But, from what I've heard of his interactions with Unicron, and from what his followers believe, there is actual evidence that he does indeed hold sway over the Chaos Bringer's power!  As for myself: I simply cannot believe that one of our kind could possibly harness the energy of Chaos and Death incarnate, without being utterly destroyed from the inside.  I believe Unicron is using him, making Megatron believe he has power over him, responding to his wishes as though he has no choice, only to turn at the right moment and devour him.  If Megatron's delusions ended there, I would not be so indignant.  But the sheer presumption, the depth of his folly, to believe he could take the life and the power of our magnificent creator, and want to...!  It is beyond my capacity to understand.

And yet... a small part of me is fearful, simply because of his conviction and sincerity.  Oh, Primus, my dearest lord, surely you could not be overtaken!  Forgive me, mighty one, for even thinking it...
