*Auspex is attempting to study an obscure text. She is somewhat distracted, still reeling a bit about the recent events, the new friend she lost so soon, and what an enigma he was... as well as the experience of having her innate abilities boosted by a Cybertronian with Mini-Con power-augmenting energy, without the need of the specific port that no one in her universe possesses... and a new dent in the wall that needs repair, introduced by a very large helicopter Cybertronian from a very alien universe. It's... been strange lately, even for her.*

And you also had your mind flooded with Unicron's essence because you were foolish enough to open yourself to Megatron. Primus kept him away this time, but he still did not--or could not--warn you of the danger.

*perks up at the idea of a guard*

It was necessary; he needed to be told. Finding and revealing spiritual truth is part of my function. Primus anticipated Unicron interfering; not to the extent that he did manage, but he was not caught completely off-guard, and he shielded me. There are not many Primus-born mechs who are in that sort of spiritual dilemma, though; in fact, Megatron was the first I'd heard of.

*She notices his interest* If I can find one willing to come to a tiny, secluded temple... I would not be opposed to it.

*she blinks at him quizzically* You've already made your opinion of Primus' ways very clear; I see little else you can say to declaim his protection any further. *her tone is matter-of-fact, a simple observation*

Will you feel more at ease if I find a temple guard, then?

*Her optics narrow at him, just slightly, growing irritated at his mind games* Any guard who already lives in a temple is trustworthy. A former one is working at Pyro's, actually, though I don't wish to disrupt his life or his job. I can visit one of the guarded temples, and ask if they can spare one.

Considering your lack of Trust in Primus' protection, I fail to see how any guard would meet your expectations; nor will they be amused at being questioned. And please don't wheedle; your thought-attitude is matching your outward expressions only very little. *A sure way to annoy the priestess, indeed*

*seems shocked* Auspex, you wound me. I would not be so petty as to turn away every guard. But you know very little of security and deception, while I'm bonded to a Monitor. You don't want to be guarded by a fool, do you?

*She starts to say more, when she pauses suddenly, and her optics flicker. She does a bit of a mental double-take* ...bonded? Wait... literally? *she blinks ponderously* When did this happen?

*Auspex would complain about the subterfuge... but truthfully, she is more than tired of discussing her safety; the change of subject is welcome*

*She tilts her head slightly, the beginnings of a glad smile making itself known* That's wonderful, Thrust! I'm so pleased for you! *she pauses a moment, chuckling softly at what she senses* I see that you're very proud of it, also; I suppose it is warranted.

In retrospect, were your fears valid? Do you regret the sacrifice of secrets? *probably rhetorical questions, but she is attempting to make a point*

Actually, it was surprisingly comfortable. We shared more emotions than deeper memories, and at this point I have little to hide from him that would be at the top of my mind. We have an arrangement.

He wasn't entirely pleased, but I think after this long he seems to understand that I'm not just messing around. He didn't try to stop us.

*Auspex nods, looking a bit relieved* I'm glad of that; I was somewhat concerned. And... *she winces* Starscream? *She's unsure if she really wants the answer, but she feels she should ask, anyway..*

I only wondered how he was taking it, or how Dreadmoon was taking him taking it. But I do think I am asking the wrong person. *her expression is somewhere between amusement and irritation*
