Scourge Arrives

[primus_seeress]

*Auspex is wandering in the wildernesses around her sanctuary. There are times she simply needs to see the sky and stars, and seek Primus in the landscape of her homeworld. She drifts over the plains, utilizing her seldom-used hover vehicle mode. She finds a peculiar outcropping of metal, transforms, and climbs up a little higher, to perch on it, and survey the scenery.*

*She has a suspicion Primus has a purpose for her being here... but doesn't he always? She murmurs a prayer as she watches the serene landscape.*

*her optics flicker, slightly confused* Um... you are from Void's universe? You... seem to have wandered away from your native place, if so.

*looks around him, actually noticing his surroundings for the first time* I'm on the other Cybertron again, aren't I? *his wings curl a bit tighter around him and he looks nervous* Oh. *he pulls the gun a bit closer, aiming it off to the side*

Er, perhaps. A different one, in any case. *she tilts her head at him* Don't be alarmed. It is simple enough to find your universe again, if you managed to get here. And perhaps Primus saw fit to bring you here. *considering his fear, and his nervous behavior, something is wrong, and the division of universes is a simple thing for Primus to transcend*

Primus? Hnn. *he ducks his head slightly, feeling more of Unicron then of Primus* I'll just move along, then, let you get back to what you were doing. *he turns away*

You are still a child of Primus, despite the Unicron-reformatting. And, clearly, something is troubling you; the Chaos does not mask your emotion so fully that I cannot see that. Please-- if there is any way I can help you, I gladly will. I offer a listening audio, and the peace of Primus, if you will accept it. Is there really other business you have here, so far away from the cities? *Her face reflects sincere concern, and kindness... no hint of anything judgemental*

*Scourge raises his gun again and takes a step back* Who's been telling you about me?

*This time she doesn't flinch, but just looks at him steadily, patiently* I know nothing of you, other than what you have told me in this short time, and what Primus tells me of your character. Don't be afraid... you are a child of Primus, and he knows you. It is my function to aid my fellow Cybertronians in his name, and he gives me insight. I only know something has caused you pain. Considering where you've come from, and your reaction, it is a reasonable assumption that Void is involved somehow.

*holds the gun shakily, looking somewhere between nervous and confused* It isn't your problem, what's happened with me.

No. But it is my function to aid you, if I can, if only to hear your story, if you are willing. Have you spoken to anyone about what troubles you?

No. *pauses for a moment, his voice sounding desperate* Not...much, anyway. What do you want? You can't change what's already happened.

I want to help my lord's children by allowing them to let go of the shadows of pain that darken their lives. I cannot change what has happened, but you need to speak to someone about it; it will only strangle your spark, and kill whatever joy you may otherwise find in your life, if you keep it locked away. Primus did not mean for us to suffer in silence. Haven't you wanted to share your burden with anyone?

*pauses, then nods slightly* Yeah. I don't know how you know all this, but that's about it. *wonders where the heck this mech came from and what she wants out of this. Energon or protection, maybe, but who cares. She has no idea who he is and she's willing to listen*

*She nods. Moving slowly so as not to startle him, she climbs down a bit, choosing to sit closer, lower to the ground* There is nothing I ask; I simply follow the will of Primus, and he would not have you endure needless pain. Please, let me help you.

*still clinging to his gun, he sits down on a pile of scrap metal* You don't really want to hear about it, trust me.

*she smiles slightly* Try me.

*shuts his optics off, still shaking his head back and forth* I was...one of Void's. Before.

*her optics flicker slightly for a moment, considering* Were you a willing servant, or a captive?

*his wings shiver slightly and he looks at the ground* Depends who you ask. Either way, I didn't have much choice in it.

*She tilts her head as she gazes at him* I am asking you. How did it happen?

*his voice is a bit lower now* I was stupid. I got captured and tortured and didn't have the bearings to get out.

*she nods slightly* Torture is very hard for some to endure, warrior or not; but when the torturer has Chaos on his side... *she winces* No, I do not fault you that.

Cyclonus handled it. Could have handled it. Whatever. *puts his head in his hands*

*she frowns in concern* Do not fault yourself if your strengths lie in different areas than Cyclonus's. No one can have endurance in everything. *she wants very much to pat his arm, something to comfort him, but she is not sure how he will react. She settles for moving a little closer* But you feel that you have failed those you love.

*moves back slightly, head still bowed* I failed everyone. I should have run, I should have fought harder. I could have avoided being captured in the first place. *wings shiver again* You don't want to be talking to me about this, trust me. You'll just get an audial full of depressing ideas.

*she shrugs* It is my function. I hear many depressing things. Primus brings me peace. *She slowly, ever so slowly, reaches out toward him, but doesn't quite touch him* Please. I promise you, in witness of Primus, that I will not harm you.
